These medieval hamlets are truly magical places steeped in history and set in beautiful protected nature reserves.

Airports - Montpellier, Lyon, Toulouse, Barcelona
The hamlets consist of clusters of several 3 or 4 bedroom houses arranged around a main building with halls large enough to hold meetings and common living areas where the group can get together for meals.
The interiors have been beautifully restored while the architecture of the exteriors still holds all of its original charm.
Winding passageways, old stairwells and corridors somehow connect all the buildings together sometimes giving the feeling of being in a labyrinth.
These properties are all situated in protected nature reserves with breathtaking scenery all around.
They all have a swimming pool, covered terraces and outdoor kitchens perfect for enjoying meals in the open air during the warmer months.
As these places are quite remote the number of outdoor activities is a little more restricted but hiking and cycling remain a great way of getting some fresh air and enjoying this unspoiled countryside.
